Getting Around

The Airport Located 7km north of town, the airport has a post office, snack bar, and numerous taxis and baby taxis waiting outside. If you wish to rent a car or van by the day, do it here and save yourself the extra cost of a taxi into town (see under Car earlier in this section). For a vehicle into town, expect to pay about Tk 200 for a taxi, Tk 100 for a baby taxi and Tk 10 for a seat in a 10-seat tempo.
