The Shah Restaurant in the heart of town, a few doors south of the main intersection, has good Bangladeshi food. You can get a filling meal for around Tk 25.

The Century Restaurant is the closest thing in town to a western restaurant, with snacks such as fried chicken rolls and hamburgers on the menu. It also serves a range of Bangladeshi food. It's located on the first floor just along from the Hotel Plaza on College Rd.

There's a restaurant on the main drag close to Hotel Mukta, and you may find tea stalls around the market near the railway station.
